Huculak's 1967 Shelby GT500

This 1967 427 equipped Shelby GT500 is owned
by John Huculak of California. The 427 engine was a dealer installed
option on this Shelby. The car has undergone a complete restoration
and is about 99% complete. John says about the only thing left to do
is to have the stainless steel hood pins made.
John says the 427 engine has been completely
reworked including balancing and blueprinting. New components include:
Eski high performance cam and valve assembly, LeMans connecting rods,
Arias high compression forged aluminum pistons, forged steel crankshaft,
Ford aluminum flywheel, Carter fuel pump, high pressure/high volume
oil pump, 2½ inch cast Ford high performance headers, Flowmaster
exhaust, Cobra aluminum finned oil pan.
Other features of this Shelby include: special
Shelby hood with extra cooling louvers, 4 speed toploader with Hurst
competition shifter, 3.50:1 traction lock nodular case differential
with 31 spline special alloy high strength axles, engine oil cooler,
Koni high performance shocks, front and rear sway bars, Shelby front
A-arm modification, Traction Master under-ride traction bars, red laquer
paint with white LeMans stripes, functional rear brake cooling scoops
and a black deluxe interior with the dash signed by Carroll Shelby.

This Shelby is featured in the "Mustang Recognition
Guide" and is in the new "Shelby American World Registry". John can
